Therapeutic Indications Of Clarimac 500 Mg Tablets
- It is used in the following infections:
- Throat infections (pharyngitis/tonsillitis)
- Respiratory tract infections: sinus infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia
- Uncomplicated skin infections
- Mycobacterial infections
- Pylori infection (along with other medicines)
- Middle ear infections in children (otitis media)
Method Of Administration Of Clarimac 500 Mg Tablets
- Take this medicine as indicated by your doctor
- The dosing may depend on the site and severity of your infection.
- The usual dosing is 500 mg every 12 hours.
- In children, the dosing is calculated based on the child’s body weight in mg/kg/day. The usual dose is 15-20 mg/kg/day.
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
