6. Middle ear infections in children (otitis media)

Method Of Administration Of Clarimac 500 Mg Tablets

• Take this medicine as indicated by your doctor
• The dosing may depend on the site and severity of your infection.
• The usual dosing is 500 mg every 12 hours.
• In children, the dosing is calculated based on the child’s body weight in mg/kg/day. The usual dose is 15-20 mg/kg/day.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
