• Adult and children above 2 years: use one enema per day
• How to use this enema:

1. Remove the orange protective shield from the enema before inserting it.
2. With steady pressure, gently insert the enema tip into the rectum with a slight side-to-side movement, with the tip pointing toward the navel.
3. Insertion may be easier if the person receiving an enema bears down as if having a bowel movement. This helps relax the muscles around the anus.
4. Stop using if the tip is hard to insert. Forcing the tip into the rectum can cause injury (especially if you have hemorrhoids).
5. If the enema tip causes rectal bleeding or pain, get immediate medical care.
6. Squeeze the bottle until nearly all liquid is gone. It is not necessary to empty the bottle completely, as it contains more liquid than needed.
7. Remove from rectum and maintain position until urge to evacuate is strong (usually 1 to 5 minutes).

• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
