Contraindications for the use of Finadex:
- Fexofenadine is prohibited for use by people who suffer from hypersensitivity to it, or to any of the materials used in its manufacture.
Warnings and precautions:
- A doctor should be consulted before giving fexofenadine suspension to children under two years of age.
- Children under the age of 6 years should not give fexofenadine tablets dissolved in the mouth, and higher doses of fexofenadine (60, 120, 180 mg) should not be used for children under the age of 12 years.
- People who suffer from kidney disease should consult a doctor before using fexofenadine to ensure that it is safe for this group to use.
- It is recommended to consult a doctor before using this medication by elderly people over the age of 65, as fexofenadine may have greater side effects on this group.
