Method Of Administration Of Glucophage 850 Mg Tablets

• The dosage of Metformin is determined by the doctor on an individual basis according to the results of laboratory blood glucose measurement.
• Usually, adults start with 500 mg or 850 mg metformin hydrochloride 2 or 3 times a day.
• The maximum daily dose is 3000 mg taken as 3 divided doses
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
