• Hypertension, high blood pressure is a common condition in which the long-term force of the blood against your artery walls is high enough that it may eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease.

Method Of Administration Of Co-Diovan 160/25 Tablets

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
• It is important to take the drug exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• The recommended dose is 1 coated tablet per day, your doctor may increase the dose to reach the targeted blood pressure
• The maximum antihypertensive effect is seen within 2 to 4 weeks.
• The maximum daily dose is 320 mg/25 mg.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Undesirable Side Effects Of Co-Diovan 160/25 Tablets

• You should see your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms of angioedema, such as:

1. swollen face, tongue, or pharynx
2. difficulty in swallowing
3. hives and difficulties in breathing

• Severe skin disease that causes rash, red skin, blistering of the lips, eyes, or mouth, skin peeling, fever (toxic epidermal necrolysis)
• Decrease in vision or pain in your eyes due to high pressure (possible signs of fluid accumulation in the vascular layer of the eye (choroidal effusion) or acute angle-closure glaucoma)
• Fever, sore throat, more frequent infections (agranulocytosis)
