
Prescription Required
- If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.
- If you are currently taking or took a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) in the past 14 days.
- If you are currently taking one of these medications: Escitalopram, Linezolid, Pimozide or Methylene Blue.
Warnings and precautions :
- Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this drug including:
- If you have heart problems such as abnormal heart rhythm or heart failure.
- If you’ve had a recent heart attack.
- If you are taking or took medications for Parkinson’s disease in the past 14 days.
- If you have seizures or epilepsy.
- If you have any bleeding disorders.
- If you have liver disease.
- If you have severe kidney disease.
- This medicine raises the chance of suicidal thoughts or actions in children, adolescents and young adults.
- All people who take this drug need to be watched closely.
- Call the doctor right away if any thoughts or actions of suicide occur.
- This medication increases the risk of bleeding if taken with certain medications such as blood thinners.
- A severe and sometimes deadly problem called serotonin syndrome may happen.
- The risk may be greater if you also take certain other drugs.
- Do not stop taking this drug all of a sudden without calling your doctor.
- You may have a greater risk of side effects.
- Your doctor will slowly stop this medicine for you.
Possible Side Effects :
- Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; blisters; itching; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Serious Side Effects :
- Serotonin syndrome characterized by change in balance; confusion; hallucinations; fever; fast or abnormal heartbeat; flushing; muscle twitching or stiffness; seizures; shivering or shaking; sweating a lot; severe diarrhea, upset stomach, or throwing up; or very bad headache.
- Suicidal thoughts.
- Low sodium levels.
- Bleeding.
- Seizures.
- Irregular heartbeat.
